Product Description

Intended Use:

The Thyroglobulin (TG) Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a fluorescence

immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative detection of Thyroglobulin (TG) in human whole

blood, serum or plasma, as an aid in monitoring after thyroid ablation.

Principle:

The Thyroglobulin (TG) Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a test detecting

Thyroglobulin based on fluorescence immunoassay technology. The sample moves

through the strip from sample pad to absorbent pad by the chromatographic force. If the

test sample contains TG, it attaches to the TG antibody which is conjugated with

fluorescence microspheres. Then the complex will be captured by the capture antibody

coated on the nitrocellulose membrane (Test line). The concentration of TG in the

sample correlates linearly with the fluorescence signal intensity captured on the T line.

According to the fluorescence intensity of the test and product standard curve, the

concentration of TG in the sample can be calculated by the analyzer to show the

concentration in specimen.
