Fmd Nsp Antibody Cassette Rapid Test Kits High Accurate And Sensitive
Application:
The Foot and Mouth Disease Virus Non-Structural Protein Antibody (FMD NSP Ab) Rapid Test Cassette (Serum/ Plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of infected FMDV antibodies in swine’s or cattle’s serum, plasma. It’s for monitoring FMD NSP antibody level and evaluating the infection status of animal.
Description:
The FMD NSP Antibody Rapid Test Cassette (Serum/Plasma) is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test cassette has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample well on the cassette, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated FMD NSP antigens. If there are anti-FMD NSP antibodies in the specimen, a visible T line will appears. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result.
1. Collect swine’s or cattle’s fresh whole blood, and separate serum or plasma from blood as soon as possible to avoid hemolysis. Only use clear, non-hemolyzed specimens. Do not leave the specimens at room temperature for prolonged periods. Serum and plasma specimens may be stored at 2-8 °C for up to 3 days. For long term storage, specimens should be kept below -20 °C.
2. Move the test cassette from the foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. Best results will be obtained if the assay is performed within one hour.
3. Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface. Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 2 drops of serum or plasma (approximately 50 μl) to the specimen well (S) of the test cassette, then start the timer. See illustration below.
4. Read the results in 5-10 minutes. Do not interpret results after 15 minutes.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Positive: The presence of both C line and T line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
Negative: Only clear C line appears.
Invalid: No colored line appears in C region, no matter whether T line appears.
